Get a permit before work begins!
It is the responsibility of homeowners and landowners to apply for and receive building permits from the Zoning Department before construction begins.
Construction includes the addition of solar panels to a property.
Check with Village Hall before allowing any work to be started on your property. A Zoning permit ensures that construction and installation agrees with requirements, protecting property owners from non-compliant installation that could result in further expense.
How to get a permit: Contact Village Hall or Zoning Officer John Holt.

Greenview Water Department gets new service truck
8/23/2024
The Village of Greenview Water Department is excited to introduce our new service truck! This purchase was increases the efficency of our maintenance and water departments. Prior to this purchase, both the maintenance and water departments shared one vehicle which resulted in longer wait times for service calls and repairs. Another issue the employees faced was having to use a personal vehicle to complete work related tasks when the service truck was already in use. The Village of Greenview President, Board of Trustees and staff are happy to alleviate this problem to be able to assist residents in a more timely manner.
